Here's a quick bite of info from the EA Press Conference.
Mary Bihr micardis from Lucas Arts basically confirms that starships will be player housing, dashing our hopes from the IGN starship announcement.
That sure was some quick-lived excitement. Having a personal house is great, and using starships is an efficient way to do it, but what a let-down when you're hoping for space exploration and combat. Let's hope a future update turns things around.
The last bit of information comes in the form of a PvP tidbit.
In The Old Republic, players battle it out in warzones. In these warzones, players will experience fierce battles that evoke memories of famous Star Wars ground conflicts. Our first warzone will be on the planet Alderaan, where teams of players from the Empire and Republic will battle for glory and great rewards.
Warzones sound a lot like PvP battlegrounds where you queue up and join a team vs team battle. It's more good news for the PvP junkies, but we're hoping the warzones don't put a damper on world PvP like some other games. Only time will tell.
