The other half of Friday's update is another developer blog that gives us some insight on the making of the Trooper class from Principal Lead Combat Designer Damion Schubert.

In the blog, Damion Schubert talks about the process of creating the Republic Trooper from a combat point-of-view, and fludac explains how the feedback they received were the highest they had received for any class yet.

They responded well–far better than we imagined, in fact. The scores that day were the highest we had seen to date. It turns out there are a lot of people who like to blow things up. And that’s what the Trooper does best.
