TrooperAlong with another issue of Threat of Peace, it looks like Buy benemid online Bioware has decided to grace the fans with a new class reveal -- the Trooper!

These battle-hardened soldiers are the Republic's front line against the Sith. Armed with "heavy blaster rifles and nearly impenetrable armor," even the toughest foe would think twice before engaging directly in combat with a Trooper.

In the wake of the Treaty of Coruscant, the Republic military has begun recruiting from within its own ranks, creating cutting-edge Special Forces squads for the inevitable day when the war with the Sith Empire begins anew. These advanced strike teams are comprised of only the most talented and disciplined soldiers—a new breed of elite Republic Troopers.

I think everyone already knew this class was coming, but it's nice to finally get all the details. There are also some short "Tactics" videos on the Trooper's class page that show a few animations, and I have to say that things are coming along nicely. The animations look really smooth and the particle effects are pretty nice as well.

As far as gameplay is concerned, it looks like Troopers will be bringin' the pain as the highest ranged DPS class, as well as having a repertoire of buffs for party members. Heavy armor, highest ranged DPS, and buffs? This looks like it is going to be one serious class.

And don't forget to read Gamespot's interview with Principal Lead Writer Daniel Erickson and Lead Combat Designer Damion Schubert for more gameplay insight.

There is a ton of information to check out, so make sure you get to the official site and dig through it all and then hit up our discussion thread!
