Bioware has given us some goodies for the weekend. Starting off, we get to discover Ord Mantell, a planet that is in deep political conflict and seems like there are a lot of battles going on between The Republic and The Separatists that occupy the planet.
The planet was deserted by the Corellian Military after their fleet was sold off by a corrupt Admiral and then became a haven for smugglers, pirates, and bounty hunters. Corrupted government officials decided to stay loyal to the Republic, which has lead to numerous battles on Ord Mantell. Sounds like a seedy place to me -- just the place to go if you're looking for something, or someone, to fight...

Along with a bit of background on Ord Mantell, there are a few new screenshots, as well as concept art of The Republic Base and The Separatists Stronghold. The new art looks really good.
